Job summary

Idlogistics in Ocala, FL is hiring a Packager to sort, verify, package, label and weigh items into standard units while following customer requirements. You will use scanners, computers and handheld printers in a safe, organized distribution center.

This role requires lifting 50+ lbs, standing long hours, and PPE compliance. The position offers full-time hours, Wed-Sat shifts, and a competitive hourly wage with a shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced distribution center.
• Able to lift and move 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sort, verify, package, label and weigh items into units per requirements.
• Receive and sort inventory into totes.
• Use scanners, computers, and handheld printers.
• Follow PPE standards and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Operate in temperature controlled or non-controlled rooms using WMS instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

ThePackager'sprimary responsibility will be sorting, verifying, packaging, labeling and weighing items into units in accordance with pre-established pack sizes, and customer requirements. The each sort Associate is also responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and safe environment.

• Receive and sort inventory into different totes.
• Use technology like scanners, computers, and handheld printers
• Utilizes pick sheet, customer order, work order, shipping order or facility WMS acquisition device to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed from temperature controlled or non-controlled rooms.
• Lift up to 49 pounds
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Other duties as assigned

SHIFT: Wed-Sat : 6:30PM - 05:00AM

PAY: $16.25 + $2.00 Shift Differential
