Job summary

ID Logistics US in Ocala, FL is seeking a dedicated packer/receiver to sort, verify, package, label and weigh items to meet pre-established pack sizes and customer specifications. You will operate scanners and handheld printers, using pick sheets/WMS to determine items to move, while maintaining a safe, organized work area.

The role runs Wed-Sat, 7:00AM–5:30PM with a base pay of $16.25 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Job Description

The Packager's primary responsibility will be sorting, verifying, packaging, labeling and weighing items into units in accordance with pre-established pack sizes, and customer requirements. The each sort Associate is also responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and safe environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education


• Possess strong oral and written communications skills


• Must be able to work in a varied, fast-paced environment.


• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs.


• Ability to sit/walk/stand for long periods of time.


• Follow all standards of PPE in the distribution center: for example, wearing steel toed shoes, safety glasses, safety vest or any other standards provided by site leadership.
