Job summary

ID Logistics US in Ocala, FL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick/put-away, load/unload, and stock products using industrial equipment. You will maintain equipment, perform daily inspections, and ensure accuracy of inbound/outbound shipments.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience, with the ability to obtain OSHA and other certifications. Safety, housekeeping, and continuous record-keeping are essential to the job.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of related experience and/or training.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (OSHA, company, etc.).
• Must wear personal protective equipment as required by safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Pick or Put-away boxes from cages into racks (VNA).
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using powered industrial equipment.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
• Inspect assigned equipment daily.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently following OSHA standards.
• Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
• efficiently stack and store product in designated areas.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring correct quantities.
• Move product from staging/storage to rail cars, trailers, or containers.
• Ensure shipments are accurate and undamaged; report variances.
• Keep records to ensure tight inventory control and security.
• Assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Follow customer requirements to ensure accuracy and safety.

• Pick or Put-away boxes from cages into racks (VNA)
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
• On a daily basis, inspect assigned equipment.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded and shipped.
• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Report quality variances.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Ensure proper stock rotation.
• Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely.
• Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance.
• Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process.
• Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can’t be self-corrected to the leadership team.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule DND: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri - Day shift

• 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM

Salary

• $18.50 per hour

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies.
