Job summary

Roadtex Transportation seeks an experienced Account Manager, Temp Control to lead strategic relationships in Echo's temperature-controlled transportation segment. The role focuses on profitability, operational excellence, and client satisfaction while expanding Roadtex's share of business.

The ideal candidate will manage 5-8 large accounts, drive quarterly business reviews, and work across operations, billing, and pricing to maximize margin and service quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of like experience supporting and managing customer accounts within supply chain, logistics, and transportation.
• Strong understanding of refrigerated transportation, LTL, and partial truckload operations.
• Experience with client pricing, billing processes, & general LTL business operations.
• Proven track record of building strong partnerships with both external customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic lead for all client interactions, including ontime performance reviews and business reviews.
• Deliver professional PowerPoint presentations and confidently lead clientfacing meetings.
• Develop solution-focused strategies that drive measurable improvement.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and assess competitive risks within the client portfolio.
• Partner cross-departmentally with operations, billing, pricing, technology, and other functions to ensure alignment on client needs.
