Job summary

Roadtex Transportation, a leader in nationwide LTL and temperature-sensitive freight, seeks an Account Manager, Temp Control. You will own client relationships, drive profitability, coordinate with operations, pricing, and technology, and deliver data-driven improvements across assigned accounts.

The role requires deep experience with refrigerated goods, LTL networks, and partial truckload operations, plus strong presentation and executive communication skills. Office-based in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of customer account management in supply chain, logistics or transportation.
• Strong understanding of refrigerated transportation, LTL, and partial truckload operations.
• Experience with client pricing, billing processes, and general LTL operations.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead executive-level conversations.
• Degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic lead for all client interactions, including on-time performance reviews and business reviews.
• Deliver professional presentations and lead client-facing meetings.
• Identify opportunities for growth and assess competitive risks within the portfolio.
• Partner cross-departmentally with operations, billing, pricing, technology to align client needs.
• Plan and lead Quarterly/Annual Business Reviews for strategic accounts.
