Job summary

AKAM is seeking a dependable Building Maintenance Technician (Temp) in Boca Raton, FL. This full-time temporary role runs Wed–Sun, 8:30am–4:30pm, with Mon/Tues off.

Responsibilities include HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance to keep the property safe and well-maintained. The ideal candidate has residential maintenance or handyman experience, proficiency with trades, and the ability to work independently while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential maintenance or handyman services.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely. Must provide own general tools.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on HVAC such as clearing lines, and changing filters.
• Perform general plumbing, such as replacing fixtures, and existing plumbing lines.
• Maintain equipment in common areas; respond to work orders promptly.
• Ensure safety protocols and HOA codes are followed.
• Paint and maintain community areas as directed.
• Provide emergency on-call support on a rotating basis.
