The Syracuse University Office of Athletic Communications is seeking two Temporary Athletic Communications Assistants for a 10‑month commitment beginning July 2026. The role emphasizes a strong work ethic, writing, and Adobe CC use (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere), NCAA Live Stats, and Stat Crew, plus social media engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and related field experience required.
• Strong writing and communication skills required.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud apps (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere).
• Experience with NCAA Live Stats, Stat Crew, and social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned Olympic sports and secondary contacts for football, basketball, and lacrosse.
• Create photography, videography, and graphics content for social media.
• Manage social media accounts and Cuse.com content.
• Provide media training for coaches and student‑athletes.
• Liaise with local and national media.
• Assist with supervision of student staff.
• Travel with assigned teams.
• Record statistics and maintain archives.
• Provide information to NCAA, ACC and CHA.
