Job summary

Austin Telco Federal Credit Union is seeking a friendly Part-Time Teller to greet members, process transactions, and support branch operations at our Austin locations. This role offers growth within a supportive team and exposure to a broad range of financial services.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and reliability. Flexibility to work Saturdays and travel to nearby branches is included, with competitive starting pay of $20 per hour.

• Comfort with computers, cash handling, and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and provide exceptional in-person service.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other routine transactions.
• Balance your cash drawer with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist members with account questions and basic digital banking support.
• Issue cards, handle check orders, and support branch service needs.
• Identify member needs and recommend appropriate credit union products.
• Maintain security and follow all cash-handling procedures.
• Support the branch team with daily tasks and operational needs.
• Provide coverage at nearby branch locations as needed to ensure consistent service and staffing.

Part-Time Teller | Location: 9220 Brodie Ln, Austin, TX, 78748 |Schedule: Monday-Friday 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM and rotating Saturdays: 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM| Starting Pay: $20 per hour | FLSA Status: Nonexempt
