Job summary

Bank of the San Juans in Pagosa Springs is seeking a Teller / New Account Representative who will be the friendly face our customers rely on daily. You’ll handle everyday transactions, assist with opening personal and business accounts, and help maintain strong relationships with the community.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED.
• Up to six months of cash handling and customer service experience.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions accurately such as cashing checks and deposits.
• Balance teller drawer and cash vault, and maintain cash drawer limits.
• Open and/or close the branch as scheduled.
• Assist customers with account management and general inquiries.
• Provide exceptional customer service and recommend banking products.
