Centralbancompany is seeking a customer-focused teller to greet customers in person and by phone, accurately process deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.

The role emphasizes cross-selling banking products, adherence to compliance and security standards, and delivering Legendary Service. Prior teller or cash handling experience is preferred, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous teller or cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of bank accounts and services, policies and procedures, and regulations preferred.
• Experience with banking software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and record transactions for Bank customers, including cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and balance daily; identify cash variances.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer customers to appropriate units for additional products and services.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve problems or discrepancies with accounts.
• Comply with loss prevention, fraud, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act).
• Support branch goals and participate in training and meetings.
