Sacramento Credit Union is hiring a Financial Service Representative II (Teller II) for our Arden branch. The role supports customers with service excellence, cross-sells products, and assists on new accounts while maintaining a balanced 37/40-hour weekly schedule.

The position requires strong communication, a High School Diploma or GED, and 1–3 years teller experience in a credit union or bank. Benefits and stability are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with related work experience.
• 1–3 years teller experience in a credit union or bank.
• Knowledge of credit union products, policies, laws, and regulations.
• Proven ability to cross-sell and meet referral goals.
• Analyze member history to mitigate loss and manage holds/approvals.
• Guide and train FSS I staff and perform audits as needed.
• Operate ATM/TCR audits and basic office equipment.
• Resolve complicated member issues.
• Communicate effectively, in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties of Financial Service Specialist I (Teller I).
• Cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Meet or exceed referral goals.
• Open new accounts and manage joint holders.
• Onboard new members in Synapsys and follow up by phone/email.
• Refer new members to FSS III for cross-sale opportunities.
• Open IRAs and maintain IRA accounts.
• Process deceased account closures and transfers.
• Audit New Accounts packets and daily branch work.
• Open/close the branch and manage alarm systems.
• Enroll members in online and mobile banking.
• Identify and report fraudulent activity to prevent loss.
• Maintain SCU policies including BSA/AML compliance.
• Assist at other branches as needed.
• Participate in community events to grow business.
• Maintain attendance and reliability.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
