Job summary

Municipal Employees Credit Union of Baltimore (MECU) is seeking friendly, service-oriented tellers to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently across branches and ITM terminals. You will balance cash drawers daily, refer members to appropriate services, and help protect members from counterfeit currency.

Teller I/II roles require attention to detail, compliant practices, and a customer-first mindset to exceed member expectations and support community financial well-being.

Qualifications

• Adherence to BSA, Privacy Act & Elder Abuse reporting is a REQUIREMENT.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to Learn and Apply Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive or pay out funds with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Balance each day’s cash drawer per Teller Accuracy Guidelines.
• Refer members to products or services to meet financial needs.
• Watch for counterfeit monetary instruments and fraud prevention.
