Job summary

Landmark Credit Union is seeking a courteous teller to serve members with cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, and cross-selling of services. The role requires attention to accuracy, compliance with policies, and professional member interaction.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent and experience in cash handling or customer service. You will work at our Wisconsin branch, supporting daily financial transactions and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem solving abilities.
• Must learn and use all programs and systems used for this job.
• Understanding of company policies and ability to comply with laws and regs.

Responsibilities

• Provide teller services with accuracy and balanced cash drawer daily.
• Cross-sell other member services.
• Process mail deposits and withdrawals.
• Assist in balancing ATM if not handled by others.
• May train for open/close duties with on-site manager.
• May train to verify checks for other tellers.
• May train to perform overrides.
• May be cross-trained to assist in other branch roles.
• Attend trainings at HQ or off-site as needed.

NATURE AND SCOPE

Performs transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with high accuracy. Provides cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures. Presents and explains a basic number of credit union products and services tomembers. Represents the credit union in a positive and professional manner.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1. High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2. Previous work experience with cash handling or customer service preferred.
• 3. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills,organizational skills and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• 4. Must have experience or be able to gain proficiency in all programs and systems usedfor this job.
• 5. Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as theyrelate to this position. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and alljob-related State and federal laws and regulations.
• 6. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• 1. Provides friendly, courteous, and expedient teller and other related services tomembers resulting in a balanced cash drawer daily.
• 2. Cross-sells other member services.
• 3. Processes mail deposits and withdrawals.
• 4. May assist in balancing the ATM (if not performed by an outside source).
• 5. May train to perform open/closing duties (with manager on site).
