Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of bank products, policies, and procedures.
• Knowledge of general banking principles; willingness to participate in education.
• Knowledge of basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to communicate with clients and co-workers courteously and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and handles deposits, withdrawals, checks, loan payments, and negotiable instruments.
• Assists in providing access to safe deposit boxes when needed.
• Processes mail and night drop transactions.
• Balances teller drawer at end of shift and completes wrap-up tasks.
• Maintains required files and logs (signature cards, night deposit log, mail log).
• Works flexible hours, including weekends if branch operates then.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor.
