Job summary

OakStar Bank in Camdenton, MO is seeking a Teller I to deliver exceptional customer service while processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and other transactions accurately and in line with bank policies.

The Teller I will greet customers, handle cash with care, balance drawers, promote bank services, and refer complex needs to the appropriate departments, all while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
• Previous cash-handling or a customer service role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of banking terminology, products, and services.
• Strong attention to detail with intermediate mathematical skills.
• Basic knowledge of state and federal banking compliance regulations and policies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and banking software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and professionally, addressing inquiries and providing solutions to their banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, money transfers, and loan payments accurately and within limits.
• Provide customers with account balances, statements, and other account-related information.
• Ensure transactions are properly recorded and balanced at end of day.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and accountability.
• Promote bank services and products based on customer needs.
