Job summary

Foothills Bank is hiring a Teller/New Accounts Representative to serve as the primary contact for customers. You will open and maintain accounts, educate customers on services, and actively cross-sell financial solutions while upholding high standards of service.

You will handle everyday teller duties, balance cash drawers, and ensure compliance with banking regulations. Strong communication and accuracy are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six months of banking experience, including cash handling and customer service.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Open and maintain consumer and business deposit and savings accounts; prepare documentation for records.
• Educate customers on CDs/IRAs, penalties, and earnings.
• Advise customers on additional banking services or programs.
• Handle Teller transactions: deposits, checks cashing, loan payments, wire transfers, cashier’s checks, debit cards.
• Promote bank products and maintain cash drawer balance.
• Develop and retain customer relationships and contribute to bank growth.
