Job summary

River Bank in Sparta, WI is seeking a full-time Teller I to deliver friendly, accurate service at our Oak branch. You will handle transactions, assist customers, and refer needs to the appropriate department.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and prior customer service or sales experience, with cash handling and strong math, communication, and organizational skills. Travel to other River Bank locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely service for customers, which includes, but is not limited to, cashing checks and savings bonds, cash advances, accepting deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, dispensing monetary instruments, wire transfers, loan and safe deposit box payments, and completing check orders, within established guidelines and procedures.
• Balance cash drawer daily, including periodic batching of checks and end of day processing.
• Balance and post vault transactions in accordance with all Vault Teller/Dual Control procedures during assigned rotation.
• Answer basic customer inquiries in person and via phone.
• Recognize and report any fraudulent or suspicious activity to your supervisor.
• Light cleaning duties as needed to maintain appearance of lobby and teller line.
• Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm + rotating Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm.

Position Summary

The Teller I is responsible for providing service to bank customers by conducting appropriate transactions and meeting the needs of customers by referring them to appropriate departments within the bank.
