Job summary

Marquette Bank in Oak Forest is looking for a friendly Teller to accurately process customer transactions, develop meaningful relationships, and deliver a high level of service to every customer daily.

You will handle cash with precision, balance tills, assist in opening and closing of facilities, and support adherence to Bank Secrecy Act, CRA, and internal policies, while maintaining a welcoming, team-centered environment and contributing to the bank's community involvement and rewards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Detail oriented with a thorough understanding of the Teller Department.
• Versatile and possess excellent communication skills to interact with employees and customers.
• Possess leadership and organizational skills to be able to analyze accurately and think quickly.

Responsibilities

• Possess excellent communication skills to interact with employees and customers.
• A high level of interpersonal skills to represent the bank in a professional manner in all customer interactions.
• Capability to relate to and empathize with people and maintain a friendly, cheerful demeanor.
• Possess detailed knowledge of all backroom teller balancing, remittance procedures and vault teller procedures.
• May assist other tellers in balancing daily transactions.
• May assist in opening and closing of facilities.
• Actively comply with all applicable laws and regulations to include the Bank Secrecy Act, the CRA, and all other deposit, lending, or non-deposit service regulations; adhering to the Bank's internal policies, procedures, and risk management responsibilities contained in the Employee Handbook, the Employee Code of Conduct, and other applicable policies.
• Perform job-related responsibilities that support departmental and organizational goals, consistent with the scope and purpose of the position.
