Responsibilities

• Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Smile and greet customers; demonstrate good customer service skills.
• Identify customer needs and direct to the right person.
• Control teller cash drawer limits.
• Follow bank security policies and procedures.
• Maintain an acceptable over/short difference.
• Cash checks within assigned limits.
• Accept deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
• Issue official checks.
• Redeem savings bonds.
• Process night deposits under dual control.
• Use a PC to enter customer transactions and look up information.
• Back up Head Teller with ATM, Vault, and Cash shipments as needed.
• Back up Customer Service Representative as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products, policies, and procedures.
• Stay current with required compliance courses and tests.
• Comply with BSA procedures including OFAC scans and CTRs.
• Fill in at other CBC locations as needed.
• Management may update requirements at any time.

Provides courteous and professional teller service to customers. Completes transactions accurately and efficiently according to established policies and procedures. Identify referral opportunities and make appropriate suggestions that best meet the customers needs. Consistently seek to delight our customers by friendliness, including learning our customers and addressing them by name. Reliable attendance is critical.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Processes transactions accurately and efficiently
• Smiles and greet customers, demonstrates good customer service skills
• Identify customer needs, and strive to meet those needs or direct customer to someone that can
• Controls teller cash drawer limits
• Follow bank security policies and procedures such as opening and closing procedures and maintaining alarm codes and functions
• Maintains an acceptable over/short difference
• Cashes checks within assigned limits
• Accepts deposit withdrawals and payments
• Issues official checks
• Redeems savings bonds
• Process night deposits under dual control
• Uses a personal computer to enter customer transactions and look up customer information
• Back up Head Teller as needed with ATM, Vault, and Cash shipments
• Back up Customer Service Representative as needed
• Maintains knowledge of bank products, policies, and procedures
• Keeps up to date with required Compliance courses and appropriate tests
• Follows proper procedures to comply with BSA, including but not limited to OFAC scans and CTR filings
• Fills in as needed at other CBC locations
