Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year teller or cash handling experience preferred.
• Demonstrated customer service skills preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays as scheduled.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent.

Responsibilities

• Executes TD's Brand promise to deliver a legendary customer experience in the store.
• Performs customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments efficiently.
• Processes cash transactions such as cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, and night deposits with high accuracy.
• Responds to and resolves customer inquiries using standard procedures and escalates to management as necessary.
• Engages in lobby leadership, warmly welcomes customers, and guides them appropriately.
• Educates customers on self-service/digital options that meet their needs and acts as an advocate for financial solutions.
• Trains and mentors new tellers and assists supervisors with daily duties as directed by store leadership.
• Ensures compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act and verifies customers' identities following policies.
