Job summary

Hudson River Community Credit Union is seeking a motivated Teller to learn, provide outstanding member experience, and grow within the credit union industry. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers and educate members on remote banking options.

Qualifications include 1 month to 1 year experience and a High School diploma or GED. The role emphasizes service excellence, strong communication, and teamwork across Corinth and Cohoes branches.

Qualifications

• Experience: One month to one year in a financial setting preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with banking systems, digital tools and MS Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash checks and transfers.
• Educate members on online accounts, mobile banking and remote channels.
• Assist with ITM/ATM transactions and questions.

• Resolve routine member concerns professionally and patiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash checks, and transfers
• Assist and educate members on the use of online accounts, mobile banking and other remote channels.
• Assist members with ITM/ATM transactions and questions.
• Build positive member relationships by identifying member needs and recommending products/services.
• Resolve routine member concerns and issues efficiently, with professionalism, and patience to attract to maintain members.
• Proactive use of fraud-detection resources, to identify suspicious activity early, protect member assets, and uphold integrity of the credit union.
• Support branch opening/closing procedures and assist with branch workflow and coverage
• Foster a fun and collaborative environment to service our members, grow relationships and engage with your peers.

Qualifications:

Experience: One month to one year experience. Previous credit union or financial experience preferred.

Education: High School Diploma or GED.
