Job summary

Hudson River Community Credit Union is seeking a motivated Teller to learn, provide outstanding member experience, and grow within the credit union industry. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers and educate members on remote banking options.

Qualifications include 1 month to 1 year experience and a High School diploma or GED. The role emphasizes service excellence, strong communication, and teamwork across Corinth and Cohoes branches.

Qualifications

• Experience: One month to one year in a financial setting preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with banking systems, digital tools and MS Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash checks and transfers.
• Educate members on online accounts, mobile banking and remote channels.
• Assist with ITM/ATM transactions and questions.
• Build relationships by identifying member needs and recommending products.
• Resolve routine member concerns professionally and patiently.
• Use fraud-detection resources to protect member assets and maintain integrity.
• Support branch opening/closing and branch workflow coverage.
• Foster a collaborative environment to service members and grow relationships.
