Job summary

Nevada State Bank in Tonopah, NV is hiring a 40-hour Teller (Client Service Associate) to handle daily debit/credit transactions and serve customers at the Tonopah branch. You will identify client needs, open accounts, issue ATM cards, process money transfers, and assist with loan payments in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Strong balancing skills and the ability to cross-sell products are required. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• Some cashiering, customer service, balancing or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, banking.
• Solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients' needs.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for accurately processing debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
• Identify and address clients' needs by providing a variety of services which may include opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activation ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
• Resolve clients' problems either through direct personal action or referral to alternative branch or bank resources.
• Identify and maximize cross-sell bank opportunities through exploring needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
