Job summary

Zions Bank is hiring a front-line teller in Utah to help customers with daily banking needs and transactions. You will learn products and services and support customers in choosing solutions that fit their lives.

We seek applicants with a high school diploma, basic math skills, and customer service experience; bilingual Spanish is a plus. The role offers a Monday-Thursday 12pm-5pm, Friday 12pm-6pm schedule and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and some cashiering, customer service, balancing or other related experience.
• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products and/or banking.
• Must have solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients needs.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures, maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
• Identify and address clients’ needs by providing a variety of services such as opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activation ATM cards, performing money transfers, and more.
• Resolve client problems either through direct action or referral to other branch resources.
• Identify and maximize cross-sell opportunities by exploring client needs.

Minimum pay is $17 per hour

Work schedule is: Monday-Thursday 12pm-5pm, Friday 12pm-6pm

This role will:

• Be responsible for accurately processing debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
• Identify and address clients’ needs by providing a variety of services which may include opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activation ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
• Resolve client problems either through direct personal action, or referral to alternative branch or bank resources.
• Identify and maximize cross-sell banks opportunities through exploring needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
