Job summary

Zions Bank in Utah seeks a part-time teller to serve customers, process transactions, and help guide clients to appropriate products and services. You will work in a busy branch environment, ensuring accuracy and friendly service.

You’ll interact with Spanish- and English-speaking clients, learn banking operations, and contribute to a team that values cross-selling and customer satisfaction. Benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and some cashiering, customer service, balancing or other related experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products and/or banking.
• Must have solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients needs.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process debit and credit transactions accurately in accordance with policies and procedures, maintaining a balanced record.
• Identify and address clients' needs by offering banking services such as new accounts, ATM cards, money transfers, and more.
• Resolve client problems directly or by referring to other branches or resources.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and promote related bank products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work schedule

Monday-Thursday 11am-5pm, Friday 11am-6pm

This role will:

• Be responsible for accurately processing debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
• Identify and address clients' needs by providing a variety of services which may include opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activation ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
• Resolve client problems either through direct personal action, or referral to alternative branch or bank resources.
• Identify and maximize cross-sell banks opportunities through exploring needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
