Job summary

The National Bank of Blacksburg is currently seeking a full-time Teller for our Cumberland Park Office in Tazewell, VA. You will assist customers with transactions, balance cash drawers, and provide accurate information about bank products and services.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team, delivers friendly customer service, and is ready to handle deposits, loan payments, and inquiries while following bank policies to minimize risk. Prior retail experience is a definite plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Guide members through complex transactions with confidence, knowledge, and accuracy

• Develop skills in all types of branch transactions including, but not limited to, night deposits, ATM balancing, and more in-depth system knowledge.
• Balance cash drawers and prepare teller sheets
• Use computer system to verify customer account status

• Receives payment on all types of loans
• Greet customers and receive or handle deposits of all types
• Handle proportionate volume of work based on branch demands
