Job summary

Harborstone Credit Union in Puyallup, WA is seeking a friendly Teller to deliver exceptional member service, process transactions, and help members reach their financial goals with accuracy and care. You’ll welcome members, balance cash drawers, handle deposits and withdrawals, answer questions, and identify opportunities to introduce products and services, all while maintaining compliance and security.

Starting pay ranges from $20 to $30 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members with warmth, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm.
• Create positive first impressions and build lasting relationships based on trust.
• Provide personalized service and solutions that support members' financial goals.
• Accurately and efficiently process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other account transactions.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure a high level of attention to detail.
• Answer member questions regarding accounts, products, and services.
• Identify opportunities to introduce products and services that improve members' financial well-being.
• Proactively connect with existing members by phone or email to share valuable benefits and solutions.
• Balance cash drawers and handle cash transactions with accuracy and accountability.
• Support branch operations and contribute to overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay informed on products, services, policies, and procedures through ongoing training and development.
• Follow all applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements
• Complete all required compliance and security training.
• Protect member confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical standards.

Starting pay is based on experience and qualifications and will likely not exceed mid-point of range to allow for development and future increases.

What You'll Do
