Job summary

First Financial Bank NA in Dayton, TN is seeking a dedicated Bank Teller to provide accurate financial transactions and personalized service on-site. You will build relationships with clients, handle cash and checks with precision, and promote suitable banking products.

The role requires strong customer service skills, basic math, and compliance awareness. You may work weekends and extended hours as needed, contributing to a stable, community-focused bank team with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of customer service in a business setting.
  • At least 1 year of cash-handling experience.
  • Teller experience preferred (6+ months).
  • Strong customer service, active listening, and clear communication.
  • Experience recommending and referring financial products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Basic math and accounting skills.
  • Ability to balance a cash drawer.
  • Proficiency with computers, data entry, internet applications and multi-line phone systems.
  • Ability to commute to the primary work location and occasionally to other work locations within driving distance.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and extended hours.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary, standing position for up to 75% of an eight (8) hour workday.
  • Ability to review information and details at close range (within a few feet).

Status: Full‑Time, Hourly Non‑Exempt
