Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, mobility and activities.
• Document vital signs and inputs in EMR.
• Perform purposeful rounds and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Collect urine, stool, and sputum specimens and perform point-of-care testing.
• Maintain stocked nursing area and restock supplies; clean equipment and work areas.
• Assist with patient positioning and safe transfers; support nutritional needs.
• Support skin care and use of compression devices as required.
• Follow infection prevention practices and PPE usage.
• Provide care appropriate to age-related needs as per department standards.
