Job summary

Salinas Valley Health is hiring a Unit Assistant II for the 4T Telemetry unit on the night shift. You will monitor telemetry patients, print rhythm strips, maintain patient records, and support nursing staff on a fast-paced unit.

Requires a High School diploma or GED, EKG rhythm recognition training, and preferred Medical Assistant or CNA certification. One year acute care experience is preferred. Eligible for hourly pay between $29.62 and $36.01.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Attend and pass EKG rhythm recognition course.
• Completion of Medical Assistant or CNA program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry patient rhythms and vital signs.
• Print rhythm strips every 4 hours and for critical alarms.
• Maintain and update patient records and documentation.
• Assist with department supplies and equipment management.
• Foster safe, clean, and cooperative work environment.
