Select Specialty Hospital - Madison is seeking a Telemetry Technician in Madison, WI. Per diem/PRN, 12-hour shifts, with compensation of $25.00 per hour. You will monitor patient rhythms, respond to alarms, and ensure accurate alarm identification.

You will perform EKG interpretations including rate, rhythm, PRI, QRS, QTc, and collaborate with RN to validate strip interpretations. A strong orientation program and potential for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Pass required competencies on education platform and other tests as needed.

Responsibilities

• Watch and respond to alarms continuously and promptly.
• Verify identification of basic and lethal rhythms and artifact; maintain monitor alarms.
• Perform EKG interpretations including rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QTc, ST segment, and rhythm interpretation.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
