Job summary

Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District is seeking a Telemetry Technician (Nights) to monitor cardiac rhythms of patients on telemetric equipment in the ICU. You will interpret basic rhythms and report findings to licensed nursing staff under supervision.

Includes clerical duties and assisting with supplies and services as directed. A Medical Terminology class or one year of medical-related experience is preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The ICU Telemetry Technician monitors cardiac rhythms of patients on telemetric equipment. Interprets basic cardiac rhythms, common dysrhythmias and monitor mechanical malfunctions. Perform specific clerical and reception functions under the direction of the Charge Nurse/Nurse Director. He/she requisitions supplies, equipment and services as directed. Under direct supervision, he/she will assist the licensed nursing staff, by answering call lights and reporting findings to licensed nursing staff.

• Medical Terminology class or one (1) year experience in medical related field

Position Pay Range: $19.28 - $25.18/ Hourly
