The position features three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), every third weekend, rotating holidays, and comprehensive telemetry training to start or grow a healthcare career.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Telemetry education and competency within 6-12 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor cardiac telemetry systems for assigned patients.
• Promptly notify nursing staff of any changes in a patient's heart rhythm.
• Record and document patient heart rhythms on an hourly basis and whenever changes occur.
• Run telemetry strips according to established policies and procedures.
• Alert nursing staff when telemetry signals are interrupted or equipment requires attention.
• Maintain daily inventory of telemetry transmitters and lead wires.
• Handle confidential patient information with professionalism and discretion.
• Collaborate closely with registered nurses and other members of the healthcare team to support quality patient care.
