University of Chicago Medicine is seeking a Monitor Technician to join the Cardiac Telemetry unit at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in the greater Chicagoland area. This 100% onsite night shift role ensures patients remain on continuous telemetry and requires based in the Chicagoland area.
Under supervision, you will monitor rhythm strips, maintain telemetry equipment, document findings, and promptly notify staff of dysrhythmias to support high-quality patient care.

Under the leadership of the Manager/Supervisor of Patient Care Services provides technical/clerical support to assist in the delivery of quality care to patients. This involves technical/clerical duties which will facilitate the Patient Care Center operations including routine management of the telemetry room functions and documentation, interpretation of rhythm strips, ensure proper management and maintenance of telemetry equipment, ensure quality patient care through diligent maintenance of continuous telemetry as required by physician order or patient need, and prompt staff notification of dysrhythmias.

Compensation & Benefits Overview
UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits. The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.
The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
