Haywood Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, invites you to join our 22-bed PCU/Telemetry unit as a Telemetry Tech. This full-time night role supports a 3x12 schedule (7p-7a) with rotating weekends and uses advanced cardiac monitoring to deliver high-quality care.

Candidates should hold EMT/EMT-P, CNA, SRNA, or CMA and a high school diploma, plus BLS and telemetry coursework. You’ll monitor monitors, identify arrhythmias, intervene when needed, and report findings to the nursing

Qualifications

• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
• Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately.
• Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
• Tests equipment for proper working order and reports problems to supervisor.
