Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport, IA is seeking a Telemetry Technician for a full-time night shift. The role focuses on monitoring patient telemetry, interpreting EKGs, and promptly responding to alarms to support critical care.

Must complete the required EKG class within 30 days and may have an LPN/RN background or be an active nursing student with EKG training. We offer comprehensive health coverage, generous PTO, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Preferred background as LPN, Paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Continuously watching and responding to alarms on monitors.
• Verifying correct identification of rhythms and interpreting EKGs (rate, PRI, QRS, QT intervals).
• Ensuring strip interpretations are validated by RN.
