Job summary

Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma, Washington, is seeking a Telemetry Technician to monitor cardiac rhythms and surveillance of telemetry patients. You will recognize rhythm changes and report potentially life-threatening arrhythmias to the RN per established protocols.

The role requires ECG rhythm interpretation proficiency, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 12-hour shifts and 0.9 FTE offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of Telemetry Technician or ECG interpretation course is preferred.
• One to two years of work experience Certified Nursing Assistant in a patient care setting preferred.
• Telemetry Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor and interpret patient cardiac rhythms.
• Report rhythm changes to the RN according to protocol.
• Operate monitoring equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
• Document monitoring and patient records accurately.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle patient information.
