Job summary

St. Elizabeth is seeking a Telemetry Technician for day shifts in Fort Thomas, KY. You will monitor ECG rhythms from a centralized unit, interpret patterns, and notify clinical staff of changes. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and ECG training with yearly proficiency. Experience with EPIC strongly preferred.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Complete SEH/SEP ECG class and pass exam yearly (≥85%).
100% on lethal arrhythmias.
1 year of applicable telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor ECG telemetry from centralized unit.
Document rhythm changes and patient data in Electronic Health Records (EPIC).
Identify and communicate rhythm changes and artifact; alert bedside staff as needed.
Assist in developing protocols and participate in quality activities.
Process admissions, transfers, and discharges; orient new staff.
