Job summary

St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a Telemetry Technician to monitor ECG rhythm data from a centralized unit at the Ft. Thomas hospital. The role requires identifying basic and lethal rhythms, artifacts, and promptly escalating changes according to established protocols.

The position is non-exempt, with a 36-hour weekly night shift (7 PM–7 AM) and starting pay of $19.40 per hour plus shift differential where eligible. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Performs telemetry monitoring and documents patterns in the EHR.
• Ensures accurate information in the Electronic Health Record.
• Communicates effectively with patients, providers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform telemetry monitoring on patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Identify and report rhythm changes and artifacts.
• Escalate rhythm changes to bedside nurse or Telemetry Lead per protocol.
• Maintain documentation and patient education as assigned.
• Assist in orientation of new telemetry staff.
