Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking personnel for the central telemetry unit to monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms during day shifts. You will document rhythm strips, troubleshoot telemetry equipment, and communicate any abnormal findings to the care team.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, ECG class completion, and preferred experience in nursing blocks or allied tech roles. Sign-on bonus up to $1K is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ECG class and ECG exam completion required.
• Block 1 Nursing, PCT, MA, NA, Paramedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms at the central telemetry station.
• Document rhythm strips every shift and after changes.
• Troubleshoots telemetry transmitters/receivers and communicates abnormal rhythms.
• Assists and serves as a resource to the healthcare team.
• Maintains regulatory education and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Responds to crisis/emergency situations and seeks guidance when needed.
