Centinela Hospital Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Tele Tech to support the cardiac care unit. The role involves monitoring cardiac rhythms, transcribing orders, and assisting with clerical tasks to ensure smooth unit operations.

It is an unlicensed position that contributes to patient safety and care quality. The candidate should have a high school diploma, BCLS certification, a dysrhythmia interpretation certificate, and ideally some acute care experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BCLS (ARC or AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain.
• Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate upon hire.
• Six (6) months in an acute care facility, preferred.
• Training on Violence in the Workplace Prevention within 90 days from date of hire

Responsibilities

• Monitors cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors.
• Transcribes physician orders with notation and signatures by nursing staff.
• Prepares and compiles records in the unit.
• Orders supplies for the unit and prepares charts for required forms.
• Provides excellent customer service and supports nursing staff in indirect patient care.
