Qualifications

• HS Grad/Equivalent education.
• Six months minimum experience in a related role.
• BLS competency required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret cardiac rhythms and determine baseline rhythm and variances.
• Monitor patient data and document findings per protocols.
• Assist with telemetry lead placement for accurate analysis.
• Notify staff of lead issues and assist with skin prep and lead placement.
• Escalate rhythm changes to RN when needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the central monitoring station and telemetry equipment.
• Document periods off telemetry for showers, tests and procedures.
