TriHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 4200 Telemetry Unit at Bethesda North Hospital. This PRN night position involves direct and indirect patient care on a stroke-certified unit focused on cardiovascular conditions.

The role requires an RN with an associate degree or diploma, with BSN within 5 years, and BLS/CPR. On-site inpatient care with opportunities to advance in critical care settings.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers).
• Registered Nurse.
• Knowledge, judgment, and skills from nursing sciences to meet complex healthcare needs.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patient and family.
• Plans care based on assessment, standards of care, and outcomes; develops discharge plans.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment and respects patient autonomy and diversity.
• Collaborates with physicians and health care team; supervises delegated care.
• Administers medications and monitors effects; uses equipment safely.
• Trains/educates staff and serves as resource in specialty area.
