Eligible candidates must have RN licensure (VA license or Compact), BLS certification, and a diploma or ADN/ASN; BSN preferred. The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and professional development in a top health system.

Qualifications

• RN license required; Virginia license eligible or multi-state license with compact privileges
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Must complete annual competencies and unit-specific requirements
• Reliable phone communication ability and teamwork for patient care

Responsibilities

• Carry out nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Coordinate and implement patient teaching, safety initiatives and care plans
• Act as Charge Nurse as assigned and participate in unit initiatives
• Ensure accurate documentation and time management in patient care
