Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct patient care within the scope of practice and guide patient/family teaching along with other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in patient condition, including cardiac monitoring and diagnostic results.
