Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Telemetry Unit Registered Nurse to deliver safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will provide direct patient care, and guide patient/family teaching while coordinating with other nursing staff within the Telemetry Unit.

The role requires a valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and preferred ARhythmia interpretation experience. BSN and RN-BC certifications are a plus, with a part-time schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the Telemetry Unit.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and treatment response.
