Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Tele unit. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborate with the care team, and advocate for patients and families in line with department standards.

You will assess patients at admission and during shifts, administer medications, document care, and educate patients and families about treatment plans, risks, and follow-up steps, translating complex medical terms when needed.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or active multi-state RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification through AHA or American Red Cross.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Acute care RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's condition at admission and each shift; report changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor response, and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up steps.
