UAB Medicine seeks a Registered Nurse for the Telemetry unit in Birmingham, AL. This full-time role covers nights across multiple shifts on a 3 12-hour schedule (7:00 pm – 7:00 am) at UAB St. Vincent's East in Trussville.

The unit specializes in telemetry monitoring and cardiovascular care, offering opportunities to advance clinical skills and patient outcomes. Responsibilities include direct nursing care, care plan implementation, coordination with the healthcare team, and patient/family

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Alabama required.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care on telemetry unit.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Coordinate care with all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Document orders and discharge planning needs.
• Assess patient condition and communicate changes to the team.
