Job summary

Dupont Hospital, part of Lutheran Health Network, is seeking a Telemetry RN for night shift. This full-time (0.9 FTE) position runs 7p–7a with some call required, delivering patient-centered care using established clinical protocols and collaborating with physicians and the care team.

The role focuses on telemetry monitoring, medication administration, patient education, and adherence to infection control and safety standards, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• Current RN license in state or compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies, protocols, and the nursing process.
• Administers prescribed medications, monitors for side effects, and documents administration in accordance with standards of practice.
• Telemetry monitoring and analysis of heart rhythms, reporting trends to physicians.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions (CPR/code team) as appropriate.
• Documents patient care thoroughly and promptly in the medical record.
• Maintains infection control practices and safety standards.
