Job summary

AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a private 45-bed Adult Medical Telemetry unit. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families. Join a collaborative team focused on patient-centered care and strong outcomes.

The role supports a 5-6 nurse/patient ratio with RN and LPN staff, on-unit education, and a commitment to professional growth within a faith-based system.

Qualifications

Associate of Science degree in Nursing required.
Current State of Florida or Multistate licensure as an RN required.
Minimum of six months RN experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological and psychosocial factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, regularly evaluate and revise.
Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse effects.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
